Got a burning question not covered here?
Are you LGBTQ+ friendly?
Absolutely! I welcome couples of all genders and sexualities, and would be honoured to plan your wedding.
Can I still have some ‘not-so-eco-friendly’ aspects to my wedding?
Of course you can! I believe that sustainability is all about making choices that are — well — sustainable. Let’s be honest, being 100% eco-friendly in our current world is hard, if not impossible.
Plus, sustainability looks different to everyone. Some people are all about the plastic-free lifestyle. Some people prefer to work with locally-owned vendors. Some people only purchase products that are ethically sourced and produced.
I’ll make your values my values so we can create a wedding that feels authentically you — no matter what level of sustainability that means.
With a planner and stylist running things, will my wedding still be uniquely me?
Yes! When I plan your wedding, your priorities become my priorities.
I work with you and your partner every step of the way to create a wedding that captures your personality and values. I’m here to provide solutions for the things you know you want, and ideas for the things you’re not so sure about.
And I do all the hard yards so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy your big day!
I’m trying to run my wedding on a budget, won’t hiring a wedding planner just add an extra cost?
Hiring a planner is certainly an extra monetary cost but budgeting for a planner can actually save you in other ways.
Planning a wedding takes time. A lot of time. In fact, the average wedding takes over 200 hours to plan! Add to that a full-time job, child care, volunteering, education, hobbies, a social life, and anything else you spend your 24 hours a day on — well, it’s no wonder people get burnt out planning their weddings.
If you value your time, then hiring a wedding planner is invaluable. I have the connections and experience necessary to find creative eco-friendly solutions while keeping overall costs low. I’ll work within your budget to ensure your wedding (and the lead-up to it) is as fun and stress-free as possible.
I’m not based in Taranaki, would you still plan my wedding?
Yes please!
As you’ve probably guessed by now, I love experiencing nature throughout New Zealand (David and I actually used to live in a campervan). I’d be delighted to travel anywhere in Aotearoa, New Zealand, no matter where you’re located or where you want to get married.
I also offer phone and video meetings so we can keep the ball rolling on your schedule even if you or your wedding aren’t based in Taranaki.
Whether it be to answer random little questions, or be available for video calls when we just need to talk it out, Jodie is there for us…
She’s taken the time to get to know us, and our tastes – so there hasn’t been a single time we haven’t found our perfect vendor in her original proposal.
