There are so many different roles when it comes to wedding professionals, and as a newly engaged couple – chances are you’ve never heard of them before, let alone know enough to decide which professionals you’ll need to hire to help you prep for your wedding day. I was led to write this post in answer to the question on everyone’s lips, “Can I still hire you to plan my wedding if I’m not really all that eco-friendly?” And the answer is quite simple really – of course you can! But let me explain why, and in fact, let me explain how hiring me is even more perfect if being eco-friendly in every day life isn’t something that comes particularly naturally to you.

Here in New Zealand we have a uniquely stubborn “Do It Yourself” attitude. It’s what helps us to really get up and go, create unique and innovative thing, and it gives our little country way down the bottom of the earth it’s character. It’s in our blood, it’s something to be proud of and it’s an absolute blessing that I wouldn’t have any other way… but… it can also be a curse.
